On the Run: Year 4 Tag Rugby Carnival

On Wednesday 12th August, our Year 4 students enjoyed an exciting afternoon of tag rugby against Wesley College. With six Guildford teams taking to the field, spectators were treated to a series of fast-paced and free-flowing matches, showcasing the students’ developing skills, teamwork, and determination. There were plenty of impressive tries scored, highlighting the enthusiasm and progress our students have made throughout the season.

Thanks to our parents for their fantastic support on the sidelines. Your encouragement helped create a wonderful atmosphere and inspired our budding rugby stars to give their very best.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Sam Thornley and his team of rugby coaches for delivering an outstanding four-week tag rugby program. Their expertise, energy, and commitment have played a significant role in developing the boys’ confidence, understanding of the game, and love of rugby.

Well done to all of our Year 4 students for representing Guildford with such enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and pride. It was a memorable afternoon and a fitting celebration of all they have achieved over the past four weeks.
