GGS takes on the PSA Golf Competition

Guildford Grammar School golfers recently took to the fairways at Mount Lawley Golf Course for the PSA Golf Tournament, competing in the Pairs Ambrose format.

GGS was represented by four pairs: Jai and Tom, Joel and Harry, Minh and Harley, and James and Tom. The team enjoyed beautiful conditions throughout the day, with the well-presented Mount Lawley course providing a stern test and rewarding accuracy, consistency and good decision-making.

The pairs made an excellent start to the competition, with some strong early scoring putting them firmly in contention for the leading positions. There were plenty of opportunities to climb the leaderboard, and the players showed great determination as they negotiated the demanding course.

As the round progressed, the leading pair from Wesley began to pull away from the field. They produced an outstanding round of 10-under-par 62 to claim victory and set an impressive benchmark for the competition.

The tournament was a fantastic opportunity to represent GGS in a competitive golf event, test their skills against strong opposition and enjoy a great day on the course. The players demonstrated plenty of enthusiasm, resilience and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

Congratulations to all four GGS pairs on their efforts and excellent representation of the School. Their commitment and positive attitude made for a successful and enjoyable day of competition.
